Oh I adore this with the colors. You don't know HOW MUCH I aodre these colors. It's amazing, it makes me feel like i'm in some cold wintery land, I love it. Fantastic job!

(as for critiques)

I think you did an amazing job with the critter. I'm just going to point out lighting jobs etc. So, on the bottom of the neck, where it's that lighter color all over his chest, I think that color should have been used on the top of his head as well. To give it consistency. The tail has some of the same issues, needing that lighter color to show form.

I really enjoy the way you painted the critter, though. It makes the form feel solid, with mass. You are getting so much better!

Oh the colours are sooo much nicer in real life...the scan made this look worse than it usually does to my paintings (I know my scanner really hates red though) I feel it even took away from some of the lighting I attempted.

Hahaha! I completely agree! You are so right, wow...see, I already ruined the chest so I was afraid to do anything else to the face or I thought I might ruin it too, tsk tsk to me. I shall keep that in mine though. I agree on the tail (which I pretty much hate overal) It is messy and weird in addition to silly lighting. Thank you ^n.n^
