I have been trying to challenge myself more with colour usage and one thing I seldom use are the primary colours of red, yellow and blue together so I thought it might be fun to use them here. This photographed a little off from the original colors and I could never quite seem to get it to be exact.
I hope you enjoy my abnormally fuzzy faun with her long tail and skeleton legs. I think she feels very free and at piece letting her balloons go. Like a deep sigh at the end of a long day.
This painting is tiny (4x4 canvas, not including gears) It went in an art show this weekend along with some of my other work and I have yet to get it back and see if the gears got snapped off, haha...
A question though, would anyone be interested in mini paintings like this with gears and charms on them? Time: 4-5 hours?
Tools: Watercolour, gears and a touch of blood on canvas
