I have no idea why I made the title all sparkly.
This is fairly old. Maybe from last year or very early this year. I fixed the face a little because it was so messed up, and erased some of the sketchy background (you can still see it in smudges) but I wanted this to be finished because I liked the concept. The anatomy is pretty bad though. I have improved some since this was drawn but I am still open to critique incase there are things I did not notice that I can keep in mind for the future.
Yes, marionettes, I am getting quite back into them as well as all those other so called "toys"
Time: About three hours (but I am not sure it said two hours on the picture but who knows how much more time was put in besides that)
Tools: 0.5 red mechanical pencil
Reference: none.
Thats the thing though, Marionettes dont have perfect anatomy to begin with (atleast, not most of em), so it's not too much of a concern... I love the detail though, very nice
Yes that is true, sometimes I like to draw their joints more flexible, as you might remember I did in the past. Thank you, I am glad you like the details.
Umm... it's awsome except one thing i noticed, it looks like part of a snake is gooing down her back and the snake tail endes a little fujrther down, but it looks like the snake tail ends on her arm.... near the sholder, what is that sujpposed to be if not a snakes tail.... just wondering, good job,... i want to see it colored
Oh I completely see what you mean, I looked at the picture and noticed this too. Actually that is the girl's tail, she was supposed to be fairly snake like too, but I never put much effort into the idea. The snake's tail ends by her shoulder, and the scaley bit coming from behind her skirt is a badly drawn tail. Thank you, and thank you for the helpful critique too.
