A small illustration for The Egg Sucker. This one was sold earlier this month. I would love to keep all of The Egg Sucker illustrations but sadly I realize I cannot and so I try to part with as many as I can.
Ivan is seen here gazing over his ostrich egg. The equivalent of a crystal ball to him and in his mouth he holds an egg pendulum. This illustration obviously takes places after he loses his ear and eye.

P.S. I am desperately hoping to get back to the novel this month! I have not gotten much of it done for a bit but I would like to at least add to it a little soon.

Graphite on wood.
